HuisartsenOZL is a healthcare group that unites 114 independent general practitioners in the Eastern South Limburg region. This care organisation of, for and by GPs arranges 24-hour GP care through one central desk. The patient is central to the mission of HuisartsenOZL and the management takes place from a single point of contact for primary care in the neighbourhood. A good quality content of care is paramount.

The company HuisartsenOZL has a BV form with an umbrella holding company. Independent GPs in the region can buy a certificate. The holders of depositary receipts are represented by Stichting Administratie Kantoor OZL (STAK), which is a 100% shareholder of HuisartsenOZL Holding. A large proportion of the general practitioners in Eastern South Limburg are certificate holders. As members of the Association of Medical Staff General Practitioners (MSH), all independent general practitioners, including those who are not certificate holders, participate in discussions about the medical policy of the organisation. The MSH is represented by an Executive Board.

In addition to the STAK and the MSH, the Supervisory Board is also active. This supervises the holding company of the General Practitioners’ OZL in accordance with the healthcare-wide Governance Code. The day-to-day management and management of the GP organisation is carried out by a Board of Directors.
