Procedure
If you call the General Practitioners Emergency Post Eastern South Limburg, you will get a specially trained triage nurse on the line. They will ask for your personal details and the nature of your complaints. Based on the conversation, the triage nurse will determine how you can best be helped. These options are available:
Call Recording
All calls with our GP Emergency Station are recorded for training and quality purposes.
Telephone advice
Under the supervision of a general practitioner, the triage nurse will give you advice on how to treat your medical complaint yourself. If necessary, you can make an appointment with your own GP the next working day.
Visit GPs Emergency Station
The triage nurse will make an appointment for a telephone consultation with a general practitioner
Visit GP
The triage nurse will make an appointment for a home visit. This happens if you are unable to come to the GP emergency room for medical reasons.
To hospital
Your complaint is so urgent or complicated that you need to go to the hospital. The triage nurse will register you in advance. Depending on the situation, you will go to the hospital yourself or you will be picked up by an ambulance. Don’t forget your ID…
